About

Half marketer, half technologist.

I started in Computer Science and never really left it. I just pointed it at growth. Fifteen years later, I help founders and marketing teams build brands and growth engines that hold up when the numbers get serious.

The story so far

One throughline: understand the system, then grow it.

  1. The foundation

    Computer Science

The degree taught me to read a system before judging its output. That turned out to be the whole job description for a marketer who wants to be useful.

  2. Agencies, events & startups

    Learning what moves a number

At 20 Uses IMC I worked on campaigns for more than 50 companies. I organised Gamers' Lobby, one of Egypt's first big gaming events with 3,000+ attendees, and led a team on El Mashrou3, an entrepreneurship TV show, where we won the Best Team Award.

  3. Aqarmap

    Performance at marketplace scale

I owned performance for a real estate marketplace across Egypt and Saudi Arabia and grew traffic 300% to more than 3 million monthly visitors.

  4. MNT-Halan

    From ride-hailing to unicorn

I joined the founding growth team, built the marketing team around what each business needed, and helped turn a ride-hailing app into Egypt's first unicorn across seven businesses.

  5. mazeed

    Leading marketing in the Gulf

Today I'm CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) at mazeed, accounting software for SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in the UAE and KSA. I led the rebrand and built the growth engine behind 40% sales growth.

  6. Alongside

    Founder, advisor, mentor

I founded CountryStocks and Sales Max, advise startups in food delivery, on-demand, e-commerce, real estate and FinTech, and mentor young marketers whenever I can.

How I work

Four habits I bring to every team.

Data-driven

One dashboard, one definition per metric, one owner per number. Debate the decision, not the data.

Tools-first

If a workflow is repeated three times, it gets automated. Speed compounds faster than headcount.

Team-builder

Hire generalists early, specialists once there is a system worth plugging into. Coach in public.

Hands-on

I still open the ad account, write the brief and build the automation. Strategy without proximity is guessing.

"A good part of my career has gone into helping startups with no budget at all. Most of what I know came from people who gave me their time early, so creating that same access for others isn't an extra. It's part of the work."
